UAE Clarifies Class 33 Availability
The Ministry of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has clarified that trade mark applications in Class 33 are now fully available. Brand owners are encouraged to review their portfolios, and we also recommend implementing watch notices against potential third-party interventions.
Given the historical uncertainty around Class 33 in the UAE, we welcome this clarification from the Ministry and look forward to assisting our existing and new clients with their filings in this class.
