Tunisia to Implement Digital IP Services by End of 2026
Tunisia’s National Institute of Intellectual Property (INNORPI) is set to transition to a fully digital platform for all trade mark, patent, and industrial design services by the end of 2026, with the official launch date yet to be confirmed. Once the platform goes live, all in-person services will be permanently discontinued.
The new online system, recently introduced during a training session for IP agents, will cover the following IP operations:
- New filings and registration renewals;
- Oppositions and assignments; and
- Annuity payments and related procedures (to be determined upon launch).
Additionally, INNORPI will cease issuing hard copies of registration and renewal certificates. Instead, all certificates will now be issued exclusively in electronic format, marking a complete shift to paperless operations.
