Jordan recorded steady intellectual property activity during the first eight months of 2026, according to figures released by the Industrial Property Protection Directorate.

From January to August, 4,875 trade marks and 83 patents were registered. The Directorate also recorded 3,760 trade mark renewals, 695 ownership transfers and 14 trade mark licence agreements.

The latest figures highlight the continued importance of trade mark protection in Jordan and the active management of IP rights through registrations, renewals, transfers and licensing.
