The international treaty that standardises the classification of goods and services for trade mark registration will enter into force for Qatar on 10 February 2026.

Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has started accepting industrial design applications, which marks the long-awaited implementation of Qatar’s Industrial Design Law.
