Zakikhan’s practice covers both contentious and non-contentious aspects of IP law. He mainly handles trademark prosecution, including filings, searches, recordations and assignments. He also assists clients with trademark enforcement by preparing legal opinions and drafting cease-and-desist letters.

Before joining the firm in 2024, Zakikhan interned at the Azerbaijan PTO and the Baku Court of Appeal, where he gained experience in drafting legal documents, filing patent applications and handling non-disclosure agreements.
