Victor Williams

Victor oversees the firm’s work across the Sub-Saharan Africa region and leads CWB’s Sub-Saharan Africa expansion. With mechanical engineering and law degrees and as an admitted attorney and registered patent attorney, Victor is an Africa IP veteran and an expert in IP valuation and litigation. Victor is also a senior adjudicator of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law’s alternative dispute resolution provider for settling domain name disputes.

Victor was the head of the trade mark department at Hahn & Hahn, before it merged into CWB. Victor is also a past president of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law, and now serves as a moderator, lecturer and examiner for the Patent Examination Board.
