Roxana handles the maintenance of IP rights in all EECA jurisdictions and patent annuity payments in the MENA region. Her main responsibilities include developing a centralized IP management system for annuity payments, implementing the clients’ maintenance contracts across CWB jurisdictions, creating and overseeing maintenance procedures and coordinating and training the maintenance team. Roxana also advises clients from a variety of industries, including global media, food, clothing and technology companies, on all aspects of IP rights maintenance in multiple jurisdictions.

Roxana joined PETOŠEVIĆ in 2007 as a Trademark and Patent Paralegal, later transitioning to the position of Associate, which she held until 2023, when PETOŠEVIĆ merged into CWB. Her practice focused on prosecution and enforcement of trademarks, patents and designs. Her responsibilities included clearance, registration and maintenance of IP rights in Romania and other jurisdictions in the region. Roxana also handled office actions, oppositions, recordations of changes and patent translations.

Experience

  • Provided advice on IP maintenance in the EECA region, the EU, and the UK to leading companies

  • Assisted various companies with the regional transfer of IP rights, including coordinating document preparation and recordation procedures in multiple jurisdictions

  • Assisted the Romanian IPO with the design and implementation of their online trademark and design filing system by testing demo versions and providing feedback on the system’s performance and behavior

  • Provided ongoing assistance to one of the world’s largest food companies, with prosecution, maintenance and protection of their trademark rights in the EECA and MENA regions
