Rachel Sekotlong
- Patent Administration Manager
Rachel is in charge of all aspects of patent administration in South Africa. She receives and dockets new patent applications, manages portfolios, sends renewal reminders, ensures that all deadlines are met, provides direct client support and resolves complex client queries. She also provides opinions on the administrative filing components of South African patents and designs, on the restoration of patent applications and manages bulk renewals for patents and designs for South Africa.
Before joining CWB in 2023, Rachel worked for Hahn & Hahn for 23 years. In total, she has almost 35 years of IP-related experience.
