
Pieter Venter

As an admitted attorney and qualified patent and trademark attorney in South Africa, Pieter deals with all aspects of intellectual property law with a focus on chemical and mechanical patents, particularly drafting and prosecuting local and foreign patent applications, responding to office actions and litigating and mediating patent disputes. He also has ample experience with the protection of trademarks and plant variety rights. Pieter also handles IP-related commercial aspects such as license agreements.
Pieter started his legal career at a leading African law firm Adams & Adams before joining Hahn & Hahn in 2001. He is a past president of the South African Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society.
