With almost 30 years of IP-related experience, Mirjana is well versed in prosecution and enforcement of all types of IP rights, particularly trademarks and patents, in Serbia and the neighboring Balkan countries. Mirjana oversees IP portfolios and enforcement programs for large multinational corporations and has represented clients from a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, electronics and hospitality. As deputy head of office, she has also helped strengthen the team and practice in Serbia.

Before joining our firm in 2006, Mirjana worked at another IP firm in Belgrade, Serbia for 12 years.

Experience

  • Advised leading multinational companies on the clearance of localized brand names, advertising slogans, and film titles

  • Assisted top multinational hospitality companies with trademark-related matters across the EECA region, including prosecution, oppositions, litigation, and marketing clearance

  • Facilitated numerous settlements for clients in IP disputes with local entities
