Maja’s practice focuses on trademark and industrial design enforcement and litigation. Maja represents clients before the Slovenian courts, the local IPO and EUIPO, and works with the Slovenian customs authorities on the surveillance, seizure and destruction of counterfeit goods. Maja advises clients on all aspects of IP law, addressing both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has successfully represented clients across a diverse range of industries.

Prior to joining our firm in 2012, she worked as a judicial clerk at the executive department of a local court in northeastern Slovenia.

Experience

  • Represented a leading energy drink producer in several trademark infringement court cases against parallel importers

  • Advised and represented several well-known companies in customs and other administrative proceedings

  • Provided ongoing assistance with contentious and non-contentious trademark matters, including prosecution, opposition, litigation, and marketing clearance work
