Hazem supervises the entire range of contentious and non-contentious work for our clients operating in Egypt. With more than 25 years of experience in the IP field, Hazem is well versed in all aspects of intellectual property law and practice, including licensing and franchising, portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting, and civil and criminal IP litigation.
Before joining the firm in 2014, Hazem practiced IP law at Middle East Legal Consultants & IP Services for 14 years. His prior work experience also includes working at the American multinational law firm Sidley Austin LLP and the Egyptian corporate law firm Shalakany Law Office. Apart from IP law, Hazem practiced business law, handling international business transactions, investment agreements, litigation and international arbitration.
