Cameron is a media and entertainment law specialist with more than 20 years of experience advising clients in all areas of law relevant to the media and entertainment industry. He leads our media and entertainment team, providing corporate and commercial legal advice to leading tech and multimedia platforms, motion picture producers and artists on various legal issues in the MENA region. Cameron also handles a wide range of contractual services for venture capital startups, gaming studios, crypto ventures and SMEs.

Before joining the firm in 2022, Cameron worked in the media and entertainment sector for 20 years, advising leading global content streaming platforms on content compliance matters.

  • Credited for his work on several motion pictures, including Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, Fast & Furious 7, The Bourne Legacy, and 6 Underground

  • Advised the Abu Dhabi Film Commission in the structuring and launch of a highly successful production rebate program and worked with several regulators in the UAE and Saudi Arabia

  • Advised producers of major episodic series including Real Housewives of Dubai, Top Gear, and several Arabic-language children’s entertainment projects

  • Worked at the forefront of tech development projects in the UAE, such as the launch of the UNXD NFT platform

  • Supported over 100 venture capital funding rounds

  • Advised diverse crypto and blockchain clients including Dubai’s first regulated NFT investment company, set up under Dubai’s new digital assets law

  • Advised key public stakeholders in the Saudi media industry including GCAM and NEOM
