Aura handles both contentious and non-contentious legal work related to patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and domain names, representing clients before administrative bodies and courts of law in Romania. Aura also advises clients on consumer protection issues, including labeling, packaging, false advertising, and matters related to the Internet and social media. Alongside coordinating IP matters for her clients, she oversees all IP work in the Romania office.

With over 20 years of experience in the IP field, Aura has successfully advised and represented major multinational companies across various industries. Aura has extensive experience in IP clearance and registration, enforcement actions, and collaborating with customs authorities on the surveillance and seizure of counterfeit goods. She also has experience in managing EU Phare projects, including initiatives focused on upgrading and harmonizing IP rights in Romania. As a member of multiple IP organizations, Aura has represented our firm at some of the world’s largest IP conferences.
