Akmyrat assists the team with drafting, translation, and filing of trade mark and patent applications. He supports the team in liaising with customs and police authorities concerning the surveillance, identification, and seizure of counterfeit goods, while also handling various administrative tasks.

Prior to joining CWB in 2025, Akmyrat worked as a legal intern at a law firm and at a bank in Bucharest.
