Adriana Lascu

With over 10 years of IP-related experience, Adriana's practice focuses on trade mark prosecution and enforcement, as well as protection of patents and industrial designs in Romania. She has extensive experience in both contentious and non‑contentious matters, including counseling clients, drafting cease‑and‑desist letters, negotiating settlement agreements, and representing clients before the courts in Romania.
Before joining CWB in 2025, Adriana worked for 10 years at several law firms in Bucharest, practicing civil, criminal, and IP law, with focus on trade mark and design infringement cases, particularly those involving counterfeiting, e-commerce, unfair competition, and domain name disputes.

Represented clients before Romania’s Constitutional Court, the Bucharest Tribunal, and the Court of Appeal in counterfeiting, IP annulments, and unfair competition cases

Represented the Romanian Centre for the Rights of Performing Artists (CREDIDAM) across all levels of the judiciary, and led negotiations to recover royalties from Romania’s largest media corporations

Participated in negotiations with the country’s leading television networks

Contributed to the drafting of legislative proposals aimed at amending Romanian Law No. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights
