Atanas covers all areas of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patent and trademark prosecution and enforcement. He drafts responses to office actions, handles oppositions against trade mark registrations, records changes, validates patents, prepares cease and desist letters, negotiates and drafts settlement agreements. He also represents clients before the Bulgarian IPO, customs and police authorities.

Prior to joining CWB in 2024, Atanas worked for more than six years at other Bulgarian law firms, first as a legal clerk and then as a junior associate, advising clients on all aspects of corporate, commercial, financial, data protection, competition and intellectual property law. He also worked as legal counsel at an international financial company where he handled claims, counter-claims, settlements and other matters related to civil litigation proceedings involving the largest Bulgarian telecom operator.
